FAQs

I have never purchased bespoke furniture before. Is it much more expensive than ready made?

Obviously, bespoke furniture can be slightly more expensive as it is custom made to your exact specifications. But is it not necessarily as expensive as you may think.

So what happens after I make the initial phone call to you?

I will discuss with you exactly what piece of furniture you require, normally by coming to your home and can then give you a quote. If this is acceptable, I then produce drawings for you to sign and approve (or amend, if necessary). You then need to return the drawings to me with a 20% deposit. Once these are received, we will write to you confirming a delivery date.

Am I able to visit your workshop to see the item in production?

Yes you are. Just contact me and we can arrange a time.

Can you 'colour match' the new piece with my existing furniture?

Yes, I can and I will bring colour samples with me. We can also reproduce the style of your existing pieces if that is what you want.

Am I able to see furniture that you have made for other customers?

Yes, I have long term customers who are happy for people to view their furniture. I can arrange this if required.

Where are you based, and how far are you willing to travel to customers?

I am based in Sussex, but am willing to travel to see customers all over the Southeast including London, Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire.
